Khazna Data Centers, a provider of hyperscale wholesale data centers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), is taking sure and steady steps in achieving its Artificial Intelligence (AI) goals. Khazna has announced plans to construct a 100 MW AI optimised Data Center in Ajman in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Taking to LinkedIn, the company posted, “The Ajman data center will primarily receive electricity from Etihad Water and Electricity Company.” It further said, “The facility is being constructed with an energy-efficient, modular design to ensure effective resource utilization. It will feature 20 data halls, each with a 5MW capacity.”
Earlier this year, Khazna had launched a new AI-ready data center of nearly 40 MW capacity in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City. In June, Khazna collaborated with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) to build an advanced data centre in Mafraq, Abu Dhabi, with an initial capacity of 30MW, leveraging government-owned land as part of a Musataha agreement with ADIO. The facility will become operational by mid-2026.
Khazna currently operates 12 data centres across the UAE, with a total planned capacity of 300MW as the company aims to add another 12 over the next two years.
