PT Indointernet Tbk (Indonet), an Indonesia-based digital infrastructure provider, is on track to continue its digital infrastructure expansion strategy notably the development of a 500 MW hyperscale data center campus in GIIC industrial estate, following a stellar 2025 showing, the company says in a press statement recently. The company chalked up a 48 per cent growth year-on-year in its data center business while its network business recorded a 22 per cent increase, netting a net revenue of IDR 842.1billion (US$ 50 million) on the back of strong demand for cloud services from hyperscalers and enterprises.

Stonepeak-backed Digital Edge had in January announced a US$ 4.5-billion investment package to build CGK Campus, the hyperscale AI-ready campus scalable to 1GW, which is currently under development. Its other data centers, EDGE1 has been fully contracted, while EDGE2 has achieved 70 per cent contracted capacity by the end of FY2025, demonstrating sustained demand for scalable colocation capacity.

The firm is also rolling out underground infrastructure connecting downtown Jakarta to the data center clusters in the Bekasi, Cibitung, and Karawang industrial areas, as well as developing fiber infrastructure to strengthen inter-data center connectivity within the Jakarta area.

Our expansion is focused on building a dense and reliable network backbone, while ensuring our data center platform is ready to support hyperscale and next-generation workloads,” said Yudie Haryanto, Indonet’s Sales & Marketing Director.

Donauly Situmorang, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Indonet said, “2025 marks another strong year for Indonet, where we successfully translated growing digital demand into meaningful performance across both our network and data center businesses. This growth reflects the strength of our platform and the trust our customers place in us as a long-term digital infrastructure partner.”

Donauly added that  Indonet remains focused on strengthening its role as a key enabler of Indonesia’s digital ecosystem through continued investment in high-capacity connectivity and international-standard data center infrastructure.
