Indo-US Task Force Aims to Boost Electronics Trade to $100 Billion in the Next Decade

An Indo-US task force for electronics has been established with the goal of significantly increasing trade in the electronics sector between the two countries. The objective is to achieve a trade volume of $100 billion within the next decade. The India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) made this announcement.

The task force has a multifaceted mission, including enhancing trade, encouraging innovation, generating employment opportunities, and ensuring smooth integration into the global technology landscape. Additionally, it aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and the United States in areas such as semiconductor advancements, advanced telecommunications initiatives like iCET, and the electronics supply chain, as noted by ICEA.
