Public Investment Fund (PIF) company HUMAIN, which specializes in full-stack artificial intelligence solutions, and large-scale data center infrastructure developer DataVolt, have yesterday announced a partnership to jointly develop multi-gigawatt data centers to power AI workloads in advancing AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
In a joint press release, both companies emphasized that sustainability and performance will be central to their projects, leveraging innovations in energy efficiency, cooling systems, and integrated design to reduce environmental impact while meeting escalating global compute demand.
Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, said, “By combining HUMAIN’s end-to-end AI expertise with DataVolt’s sustainable infrastructure capabilities, we’re building the foundation for a new era of intelligent computing at a lower cost of compute.”
Rajit Nanda, CEO of DataVolt, said, “We are excited to work with HUMAIN to support the Kingdom’s ambition to become a global destination for AI training and inferencing.”
HUMAIN’s expertise in AI ecosystems and its role in attracting global compute partners to the Kingdom combined with DataVolt’s experience in designing and operating complex, sustainable data centers will deliver scalable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective computing infrastructure.
The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader vision to position itself as a global hub for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and digital innovation. This partnership bolsters Saudi Arabia’s commitment to digital transformation and sustainable technology leadership on the global stage.
