HTC International Telecommunication JSC (HITC) and Evolution Data Centres recently forged a partnership to develop hyperscale data centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Evolution said in a statement. Focusing initially on two flagship projects namely EcoDC Data Centre in Hanoi, an expansion of HITC’s existing facility in the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, and a new large scale hyperscale data centre in Ho Chi Minh City, the joint venture seeks to support Vietnam’s digital transformation. EcoDC Data Centre is the first data centre in Vietnam to receive Uptime Tier III certification for both design and construction.
By combining Evolution’s expertise in hyperscale data centre development with HITC’s strong local presence and telecommunications infrastructure capability, the collaboration aims to deliver high-performance and sustainable digital infrastructure leveraging on Vietnam’s abundant renewable energy resources.
