Prior to joining KDCH, Lee Kheng was an Independent Data Centre Consultant Advisor and had designed, constructed and operationalize many large scales data centre in Asia including Indonesia for several local and overseas banks.

CS Ong is the Managing Director of Powerware Systems, the leading provider of Consultancy, Design and Build Services for Data Centres.  Powerware Systems is the first Company in Malaysia to achieve and obtained Uptime Institute Tier IV Design Certification for Saudi Telecom Corporation (STC) in 2009. It was also a recipient of the SME 100 Award as a Fast Growing Company in 2010. Powerware Systems has also designed; built and obtained the first Tier III Uptime Institute Design Certified Data Centre in 2012 in Malaysia for HDC Data Centre and subsequently, designed and built several Tier III Data Centre for some of the world’s largest outsourcing companies, Malaysia’s largest financial institution and government agencies. Darren Webb

Managing Director and Senior Vice President | DCSG

Darren is currently the Managing Director of DCSG, a software defined data centre services company that both utilizes the latest data centre technology and our own proprietary software platform to deliver colocation and access to cloud services to major global MNC’s, including FSI’s.

As a senior business leader with 25 years experience in both global telecoms and data centre industry, and over 10 years of international experience (based in Singapore since 2012). Darren has successfully led both Regional Business Units at a P&L level and high performing global sales teams – focussed on margin and driving profit. Being used to working in global matrix organisations he has also been integral to both M&A programmes and B2B integrations, both in Europe and Asia.

He is passionate about building and leading high performing teams, working alongside great talent and giving them the space and backing to do what they are good at. Darren is at his best when faced with new challenges, love winning and sharing success. He particularly enjoys the challenge of moving a business into a new geography or a new market, determining what success looks like, setting a vision, having to show agility and implementing on how we are going to achieve it as a team.

One of Darren’s most enjoyable periods of his career was leading the C&W business in Asia, working with a great leadership team to turn around that business by creating a challenger environment, where everyone shared the single vision of standing out from his peer group by providing world class customer service. Laurensius Then

Laurensius Then joined Schneider Electric in April 2004 and is currently Business Development Manager Data Centre Lifecycle Services for Secure Power Division East Asia.

As a Business Development for Data Centre Lifecycle Services he leads the Business Development of Schneider Electric’s Data Centre Lifecycle Services in conjunction with implementation projects team, designs team and works closely with customers in an advisory role, offering strategic counsel to help them successfully implement the right technical solutions for their business.

His team provides the standards and competency in being subject matter expertise for DCLS including Design Consulting, Design Optimization, Project Management and Critical Facility Operations.

He has gained over 15 years of experience in Asia in Business Development, Technical Solutioning, and Project Management.

Abhay Ghosalkar

Dato’ Ng Wan Peng is no stranger to anyone involved in the ICT business in Malaysia. After graduating from Universiti Sains Malaysia in the nineties, she joined SAPURA as a systems engineer where she moved up the ranks as project manager, program manager before leaving to join MDEC (previously known as Multimedia Development Corporation) in 1999. Edwin Ng

As a seasoned IT professional, Edwin brings with him over 23 years’ experience in wide range of IT strategy and business transformation engagements, data centre design and build, solution strategy, enterprise system and infrastructure implementations and many more.

He began his career as a System Engineer with Western Digital. He later progressed to be a Practice Manager (SEA) and Managing Consultant (APJ) with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise where he was attached to the  Strategic IT Advisory Services, Technology Services business unit. Prior to that, he spent 4 years with Accenture, a global consulting firm where he led the IT Strategy and Transformation (ITS&T) Malaysia practice and performed various IT consulting and project delivery work in the SEA, APJ and Europe region.

Before joining Bridge Data Centres, Edwin was the General Manager of Telekom Malaysia, responsible for strategic business program planning and execution, solution innovation, project implementation, leading a multi-year business transformation program and overseeing its data centre and cloud business.

Wong Tew Kiat

Wong Tew Kiat has more than 30 years of experience and is equipped with excellent knowledge in Data Centre Infrastructure & Operations Management, Business Continuity Management (BCM) in planning for Pandemic Preparedness Planning, Crisis Response Management, Incident Response, IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Management, Emergency Management and Data Centre Risk and Health Check Management.

He has managed the Data Centre Infrastructure & Operations Management of a 100,000sqft Data Centre space for the 30 years.

He is currently appointed as the President for the Data Centre Special Interest Group (DC SIG) by the Singapore Computer Society with objective as a national platform for Data Centre professionals to network and sharing of research and innovative ideas to meet the changing trends of the Data Centre landscapes.

He is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) since 1997, a Certification by the Disaster Recovery Institute International (USA) and member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI, UK) since 2005.  He is also a Certified IT Project Manager, Senior (CITPM), Certified Outsourcing IT Manager, Senior (COMIT) and Certified IT BCM Manager, Senior (CITBCM) by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS), Singapore.  He was the President for the Business Continuity Group, an industry chapter in SCS from 2005 – 2008 and 2010 – 2011.  In addition, he chaired the CITBCM Resource Panel to develop the Body of Knowledge for the CITBCM.  He currently chairs the CITBCM Board of Assessors.

Wan Murdani Mohamad

Wan Murdani Mohamad started a career with Time dotCom in 1995 as a Telecommunication Engineer, primarily involved in the network planning, design, business development and project management for metropolitan area network, as well as national and international telecommunication network.

He then joined Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation in 2001, first attached to Regulations Department. He is currently part of the Senior Leadership Team of MDEC, as a Director of Enabling Ecosystem Division since 2013, primarily overseeing formulation, recommendation and implementation of divisional business strategies and initiatives to support MDEC’s strategic thrusts in championing digital economy. Wan Murdani was nominated and elected by the country members of Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT), a joint initiative by United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), to represent the Government of Malaysia, under the then Ministry of Energy, Communications and Multimedia, as a Chairman of Study Group for two terms from 2002 to 2007, where he successfully led the multi-countries dialogues and deliberations on ICT users adoption.

Chris Ow Yong, has been involved in Data Centre industry since 2001: from design, development, construction, maintenance, operations to sales and marketing of Data Centre infrastructure and supporting services.

Chris was the Project Manager in the construction of CSF Computer Exchange, and later on in the sales and marketing, and daily operation and management of the facility. He was the key facilitator in securing tenancy for CSF before leaving in 2009.

Presently, Chris leads the business development and delivery for C2 Consult as a Design Consultant in Greenfield Data Centre developments in Malaysia.

Some of Chris’ professional accreditation includes those by Uptime Institute, TIA-942 (Telecommunications Industry Association) and was a founding member of Malaysia’s Data Centre Program for Economic Transformation Programme.

Kim Yong based in UEC’s Asia Pacific regional office in Singapore, and is responsible for increasing sales of the STARLINE brand across Southeast Asia. His main role is to contribute toward one of the company’s overall goals of further establishing its international presence and continuously strengthening its level of service across all parts of the world.
Kim Yong has an extensive range of relevant industry experience including nearly 10 years of successfully driving solution sales and performing the role of configuration team engineer in both Eaton and APC Schneider respectively.
Kim Yong holds a Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Degree from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore where he graduated with 2nd Upper Class Honors.
