Anand R. Prasad

Dr. Anand R. Prasad is a global executive for information- and cyber-security who has delivered security solutions for 5G, 4G, network function virtualization, SOC, WiFi, mobile devices, enterprise and GRC processes from scratch for secure connectivity towards a safer society. Anand has globally propagated the concept of security as the business driver with security being holistic as well as inherent to a system while considering business and architectural implications.

Anand is Founder and CEO of wenovator LLC, a global provider of cybersecurity services and consulting with top-tier clients right across the telecommunications industry. He is also a Senior Security Advisor of NTT DOCOMO, providing advise on all aspects of cybersecurity for the company, Advisor to CTIF and Advisor to GuardRails. Prior to which Anand was ChiefInformation Security Officer, Board Member, of Rakuten Mobile, the world's leading MNO with the very first cloud-native 4G & 5G network implementation. As CISO of Rakuten Mobile Anand led all aspects of enterprise and mobile network security from design, deployment to operations. With over 20 years of experience, Anand has also held key roles in NEC, Genista, Lucent Technologies and Uniden. He is an innovator with over 50 patents, a recognized keynote speaker (RSA, GWS, MWC, ICT etc.) and a prolific writer with 6 books and over 50 peer reviewed publications.

Anand was the Chairman of 3GPP SA3 where, among others, he led the standardisation of 5G security. He was governing council member of TSDSI, is governing body member of GISFI, Fellow of IET, Fellow of IETE and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Anand is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of ICT Standardization and Co-Founder as well as Co- Editor of the Cybersecurity Magazine. He did his ir (MScEE) and PhD from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.

Dr. Jochen Legewie

Managing Director, Japan Chairman Asia | Kekst CNC

Dr. Jochen Legewie is Chairman Asia and has managed the Tokyo office of Kekst CNC, a global strategic communications consulting, since 2004.

His works focus on advising Japanese and foreign corporations on complex positioning issues critical for those companies’ short and long-term reputation. He has advised on high-profile M&A transactions, both cross-border as well as in/in, and supported companies facing potential demands and campaigns by activists.  The firm has been continuously ranked among Japan’s top 3 financial PR advisors according to Mergermarket.

Prior to joining Kekst CNC he was Head of Communications at Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, and Vice Director of the German Institute for Japanese Studies in Tokyo. Since 2007, he has been one of the few foreign trustees of Keizai Doyukai (Japanese Association of Corporate Executives). 

Jochen studied at Hitotsubashi University and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Cologne.

Michael King

Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer | Rakuten Communications CORP.

Michael King is currently a Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer in Rakuten Communications based out of Tokyo, Japan. Michael has been at Rakuten for 4 years and has held various Senior Executive roles during his tenure. His initial position was CIO for the E-Commerce business where he focused on improving data utilization and driving productivity improvements. He then moved onto help build and drive Data and AI usage across the Rakuten companies. He now is responsible for accelerating the business and long-term strategies within Rakuten Communications, as a part of Rakuten Mobile.

Prior to that King spent a year in Autodesk in charge of Channel business for Asia/Pacific and also held the Japan Country Manager. He was responsible for accelerating the transformation into a subscription model based business. Prior to that King has been the president and representative director of Citrix Systems Japan K.K for seven years. In that role, King was responsible for leading, driving and expanding the Citrix business in Japan.

King joined Citrix in 2008 as director for the Citrix XenServer Division in the APAC GEO. Prior to joining Citrix, King worked for over 25 years in Asia-Pacific and Japan at companies including Borland Software Corporation, where he served as vice president for Asia-Pacific/Japan and Sterling Commerce. King also held senior sales management roles at companies including, Gartner Group and Sterling Software.

King graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration of Marketing, Transportation and Logistics.

Ras is responsible for overseeing the development of customer relationships and new market opportunities across Asia. With 24 years’ experience in digital infrastructure, Ras has spent the last 11 years in Asia. Most recently he worked at Colt Data Center Services, where he led Sales and Marketing in Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Japan, and India. During that time, Colt launched two new-build hyperscale data centres near Tokyo and acquired land for further expansions in Osaka and Mumbai. Previously, Ras was the Japan Country Manager for CenturyLink, Inc., and prior to that Regional Sales Director for CenturyLink in Singapore.
