Jason Frisch

CEO | Tsukaeru Group

Jason Frisch is the founder of Tsukaeru, a group of cloud service companies headquarted in Japan.

Jason attended high school in Japan and went on to found Tsukaeru.net in 1999. Celebrating its 20th anniversary last year, Tsukaeru Group now operates four major brands: Tsukaeru.net, Cloudmatika (Indonesia), Ozhosting.com (Australia) and Rushfiles (Denmark).

Jason usually spends his time split between Nagano, Japan and Jakarta. But he is currently in Nagano enjoying the cherry blossoms while working from home.

Tsukaeru was recently appointed Master Distributor for cyber protection company Acronis and cloud storage platform Rushfiles.

Jason has extensive experience leading diverse teams across many regions and culture. He see COVID-19 as another opportunity to invest in long term strategies as he has done until now.


Varoon Raghavan

Varoon has lived and worked in the US, UK and Asia and has more than 14 years of experience in the internet infrastructure industry. Before founding PDG, he was at Tata Communications, where he held leadership positions in sales and product management, engineering, operations and corporate M&A, delivering value creation in growth, start-up and turnaround situations.

 


Stuart Crowley

Experienced in delivering high-quality campaigns and growth for national and global organisations, Stuart is responsible for producing insightful news content and digital marketing initiatives for W.Media.

Before joining W.Media, he found success in social media marketing for a global RegTech providing compliance solutions using artificial intelligence and machine learning. Previous to that, Stuart developed a career by strategising digital campaigns for conferences attended by global visitors through email, content and social media marketing as well as search engine optimisation and paid ads.

Stuart built his skills for producing high-quality content by achieving first-class Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the UK’s top university for Journalism and English Language.

Kok Chye Ong

Head of Global Strategy and Investments | Keppel Data Centres

Kok Chye is the Head of Global Strategy and Investments for Keppel Data Centers, a regional data center owner and operator with over 20 data centers spread across APAC and EMEA region.  He has over 20 years of international experience in telecoms, data center and submarine cable development projects.

Kok Chye joined Keppel in 2011 as senior finance manager and went on to assume the data center investment role in 2014.  Since then, he has helped to grow the company’s data center presence in APAC and EMEA as well as expanding into new markets such as Netherlands, Germany and Indonesia.  Before that, Kok Chye spent more than 10 years in a number of finance and management roles at SingTel, one of Asia’s leading telecommunications company.

Kok Chye holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and graduated from the Sloan Fellows program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business with a Master of Science in Management.

 


Anthony Lim

Anthony Lim is a pioneer and veteran in the Asia Pacific cyber-security, governance and cloud space, with nearly 25 years’ professional experience and in a variety of domains. He is a consultant, advocate, instructor, auditor and business leader. He has held inaugural regional business director positions at IBM, CA and Check Point.

Anthony is a long-time well-known speaker, instructor and content-provider for many regional and local industry, business, government and academic conferences, workshops, trainings, committees, executive roundtables and media (print, broadcast, internet) and is interviewed often on TV news,, on matters of cyber-security and governance.

He was on the team which built an acclaimed international professional technical certification for cloud computing, is a fellow of a Singapore university, and a life alumni member of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.


Sachin Mittal

Wong Ka Vin

Managing Director | DC1st

Ka Vin brings with him over 30 years of Executive Management and leadership roles in the ICT industry. He is the Founder and Managing Director of DC1st Pte Ltd, a Singapore company established in 2017.

Prior to establishing DC1st, Ka Vin served as the MD of 1-Net where he led a major rebranding process, continued to grow its revenue by expanding their customer base and built SEA’s 1st Uptime Tier III DCCF DC in Singapore.

Previously, Ka Vin was the MD for CSF Asia where he was responsible for extending CSF Group DC business into Indonesia through the formation of a JV between PT Cyber CSF with KGN Group. He was responsible for constructing Jakarta’s largest and newest Data Center which was designed for the Telecom and Banking Industry. This is now the NTT Nexcenter DC in Jakarta.

Ka Vin spent 11 years in Singapore Technologies Telemedia where he held key management positions.  He was involved in the early days of ST Telemedia’s growth in the industry, working on M&A and tenders for Telco licences both in Singapore and the region. He headed the team that developed the successful proposal for Starhub Mobile. Ka Vin went on to be one of the 2 prime founders of i-STT Data Centre which subsequently became Equinix, the world’s largest data center operator today. At Equinix, Ka Vin was the VP Business Development for Asia and he provided the leadership which ensured all 4 Asia sites delivered a positive EBITDA creating a US$80 million annual recurring revenue contribution from Equinix Asia’s operations by FY 2008.

Ka Vin holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam University.
