Gerald Chan

Principal Consultant Energy & Sustainability | Arcardis

Gerald is the Principal Consultant of Energy & Sustainability with Arcadis, who leads the Energy Services in Hong Kong and supports the wider sustainability team in Asia region.  He has more than 10 years of experience working as an Energy Management subject matter expert in a consultancy role.  

Gerald received his bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering and master’s degree in system design engineering both from the University of Waterloo at Ontario Canada.

During the past decade, his work focused upon energy performance at various types of facility, building or industrial plant.  He analyses the optimum solutions to reduce energy consumption in a cost-effective approach and develop organization’s energy management strategies with expertise as a system integrator for electrical, mechanical, process and building infrastructure.

In that capacity, his primary clients have been owners or operators of commercial buildings, data centres, and industrial facilities in Hong Kong, China, and southeast Asia countries.

Alex Perkins

Chief Development Officer | Stratus Data Centres

Alex is the Chief Development Officer for Stratus Data Centres. A real estate veteran and data centre specialist, Alex brings with him deep expertise in data centre investment, site evaluation, due diligence, acquisitions, project management, design development, managing delivery of new-build data centres, as well as establishing systems and standards for operating data centres on a day-to-day basis.

Prior to joining Stratus, Alex was Senior Director and the regional lead of the Data Centre solutions business in Asia Pacific for Jones Lang LaSalle. Alex has over 25 years’ experience managing diverse client portfolios across the whole of Asia Pacific with strong experience in Hong Kong, China, India, Japan and South East Asia. Some of his key clients include Google, Microsoft, AWS, Equinix, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Citibank.


Ir. Allen Yeung, JP

Founder, CEO & Strategic Advisor | Intelli Global Corporation

Mr. Yeung has extensive experience in the areas of smart city, information technology, cybersecurity, investments, corporate and business development, science park development and government affairs. And he is a leader in Hong Kong’s information technology and communication industry.

At the end of 2018, Mr. Yeung teamed up with former Barcelona Deputy Mayor Antoni Vives, former Alibaba Data Committee Chairman Herbert Chia, and many other international smart city and big data scientists to establish Intelli Global Corporation to provide top-level design and big data/artificial intelligence related products that helping city governments and companies around the world to manage cities with new smart city concepts, improve the quality of life of, reduce management costs  and improve urban governance efficiency.

During 2015–mid 2018, he was appointed as the Government Chief Information Officer (head of department, Justice of Peace) by the Hong Kong SAR Government. Mr. Yeung was responsible for formulation of policies and strategies for Hong Kong’s information industry in development of the digital economy, e-government, cyber-security, and formulation of the blueprint for developing Hong Kong into the world’s leading smart city. He also managed the Hong Kong Cyberport and was a voting member of its Macrofund’s Investment Committee.

Recently, he formed the Institute of Big Data Governance as the founding Chairman along with many industry leaders from Google, Microsoft, AWS, Alibaba, Tencent, Bank of China, SAP, HKSTP, Cyberport etc to build HK as a data hub for the GBA region.

Mr. Yeung holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas (Austin), a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management of the University of Northwestern in conjunction with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Kam Leung

Region Deputy Head of Hyperscale Sales (APAC) | NTT Ltd.

Mr. Kam Leung, the Region Deputy Head of Hyperscale Sales, APAC, NTT Ltd., is in charge of managing large scale Data Centre business relationships and its growth in Asia with his regional team.  Kam joined NTT in 2010 and was initially responsible for directing the growth of the company’s revenue, managing global strategic accounts and developing solution partnerships before taking leadership of the Hong Kong sales team in 2015. He has 30 years of extensive international experience in enterprise ICT infrastructure, solutions and consultancy. Prior to joining NTT, Kam took various business development and consultancy roles in the industry, including Gartner, Cable & Wireless and Unisys Inc.

Mr. Leung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from the University of Sheffield, UK.

Michael Mudd

Founder and Managing Partner | APP LP (APP)

Michael (Mike) Mudd is the founder and Managing Partner of APP LP (APP) an advisory providing opinion and insight into digital transformation for trade. He provides opinion and insight on policy for digital trade, data governance, privacy, security, compliance and technical standards.

An acknowledged subject matter expert on the nexus of data privacy, security and governance for digital trade, he is recognised as one of the top 200 influencers in APAC. He has drafted numerous papers and comments and technical papers for submission to the ISO as an expert member of joint technical committee (JTC-1) of the ISO.

He is the chairman of the Public Policy Working Group of the Middle East & North Africa Cloud Alliance, MENACA, and the Senior Digital Advisor to International Economics Consulting Limited a leading consultancy in Trade Economics with offices in Africa. 

He is a member of the Hong Kong Government Expert Committee Working Group on Cloud Security and Privacy. As a private sector member, reviewed numerous opinions and papers for policy. He is a member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council, (OSAC) and Hong Kong Computer Society, (HKCS) member, policy committee.

Alex Chan

General Manager, Digital Transformation | Hong Kong Productivity Council

Mr. Alex Chan is the General Manager, Digital Transformation at the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). Joined HKPC in 2020, Alex is a seasoned IT consultancy professional with more than 20 years of MNC experience in the consultancy, utilities and telecommunication industries. Alex currently lead the industry consulting, digital enablement and cybersecurity units in HKPC. 

Prior to joining HKPC, Alex was holding an executive position in a global leading consulting company and managed the Hong Kong utilities practice. He was responsible for technology consulting and industry advisory delivery. 

Alex has extensive experience in delivering and managing various types of projects, including digital transformation, IT strategy, design thinking transformation, mobile application development, complex system implementation and business process reengineering. 

Alex held a bachelor’s degree of Information Engineering and master’s degree of Electronic Commerce. Alex is a Corporate Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE).

Rosanna Tang

Head of Research, Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area | Colliers International

Rosanna Tang has joined Colliers in 2019 as the Head of Research, Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area. With 15 years’ research experience Rosanna has a deep understanding of all property sectors, research products and client requirements. Prior to joining Colliers, she worked in the Corporate Planning & Strategic Investment Department of Sun Hung Kai Properties where she led and contributed to research analysis for Hong Kong and overseas property markets. Prior to SHKP she was with CBRE in their Hong Kong and Asia Pacific research teams, where she led numerous research papers and client orientated initiatives.

Rosanna graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor of Law degree majoring in Political and Public Administration, with a double degree in Sociology. She then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Michigan.
