Brahma Reddy Kasu, is a seasoned Data center industry professional and is credited with building India’s largest Tier-4, Rated-4 data centers. He is an innovator and is responsible for 80 innovations in the energy efficiency space reducing the PUE to 1.35. Besides, he has rich experience in designing and building hyperscale and large format data centers spread across 2 million square feet. With over two decades of experience in the industry, he is acknowledged as a thought leader in the data center management space. Mr Brahma currently oversees the data center build and management operations at CtrlS in his role as Senior Vice President.

Tapan Kanti Sarkar

Founder President | CTO Forum Bangladesh

Mr. Tapan Kanti Sarkar is the founder and president of CTO Forum Bangladesh and a moderator of the Information Security Alliance.He is a member of American Computer Society, member of UK Computers & Law and a Fellow member of SAARC CTO Forum. Mr. Sarkar has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Information and Communication Technology. 

He graduated with Honors from Chittagong University and completed his Masters at Dhaka University and studied Computer Science in the USA. He started his career in 1980 as a Programmer in a multinational pharmaceutical company known as Bristol-Myers Squibb and completed overseas assignments in Egypt & USA. He then worked as a MIS Manager at Beximco Group and as the Head of IT at IFIC Bank. He was with NCC Bank as Chief Technology Officer until December 2015. 

He has professional certifications from world renowned IT Companies, such as Microsoft and IBM titled “Building Client and Server Application & Programming using Visual Basics” and  “RPG(Report Program Generator) II programming” respectively. Some additional certificated include “Enterprise Network Management and DEC OSF/1 Network Management” from Digital Equipment Corporation(DEC), “ICT Innovation in Banking” from AOTS, “Network Support & Services” from Novell, “Project Management Professional (PMP)” from Bangalore, India.

He has experience in the strategic alignment of Business and Information Technology by applying cost effective & innovative techniques. He has shown cross functional team leadership and has technical exposure on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Process Automation. Some of his expertises are the Formulation of Strategic IT Security Policy based on ISO27000, Ensuring IT Compliance in IT Service Delivery, IT Infrastructure development, i.e. Data Center, Disaster Recovery Site, Cloud Computing Infrastructure, WAN, LAN installation etc. 

He has delivered many keynote papers on various critical IT Issues like Enterprise ICT Security, Online Fraud Prevention; Information Security (IS) Audit & Control, Electronic Banking & its Prospects in different IT Seminars/workshops and in training institutes within the country and abroad as well. Many of his articles are published in reputable newspapers. His most recent achievement is the preparation of the 1st concept of the National Data Center for the Ministry of ICT.

Prashant Ahire

Vice President Information Technology Head - Technology PMO, SDM & IT Operation | IIFL

Prashant Ahire (46) is currently working as the Vice President of Technology at IIFL where he helps support IIFL group companies for Digital transformation through Program Management and Service Delivery.

Prashant has successfully deployed SDDC through the adoption of technologies like VPC, SDN, HCI, SDS, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, and Micro Datacenter (Edge computing) to lead IIFL towards rapid growth.

He is instrumental in practicing new trends of Hybrid cloud adoption through platform deployment like XaaS, Opex model of IT & Non IT critical infrastructure, Content-as-a-Service (CaaS), Data Lake-as-a-Service (DLaaS), Data Protection-as-a-Service (DPaaS), AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS), IoT-as-a-Service, RPA, and BOTs.

Prior to the IIFL assignment, Prashant worked as a Program Manager for the Datacenter Consulting Business division at multiple organizations like Dell, Schneider, and Emerson.

Prashant has unmatched experience in the deployment of Hyper-scale Datacenter which includes Non IT Critical infrastructure like EPC-( HVAC DG, UPS, PAC), IBMS , DCIM ,IT Infra ( Network & compute ), application (Exe, Web & Mobile ), and Managed IT service industry.

Prashant is best known as the person for designing and operating smart and sustainable Datacenter for 3rd party in India. He is instrumental in setting up more than 200 DC spread over 20 lakh Sq.Ft.( ranging @ 0.2MW to 30MW capacity ) and running hosting & managed services business for the last 20 yrs.

Nishchal Khorana is a Senior Director with Frost & Sullivan. He has extensive experience in growth advisory and  is working closely with leadership teams of global technology companies, investors and industry bodies.

Nishchal is an industry thought leader and is frequently  quoted in leading media publications. He is a speaker, moderator and panellist at several prominent ICT industry conferences and summits across the region.

Wong Ka Vin

Managing Director | DC1st

Ka Vin brings with him over 30 years of Executive Management and leadership roles in the ICT industry. He is the Founder and Managing Director of DC1st Pte Ltd, a Singapore company established in 2017.

Prior to establishing DC1st, Ka Vin served as the MD of 1-Net where he led a major rebranding process, continued to grow its revenue by expanding their customer base and built SEA’s 1st Uptime Tier III DCCF DC in Singapore.

Previously, Ka Vin was the MD for CSF Asia where he was responsible for extending CSF Group DC business into Indonesia through the formation of a JV between PT Cyber CSF with KGN Group. He was responsible for constructing Jakarta’s largest and newest Data Center which was designed for the Telecom and Banking Industry. This is now the NTT Nexcenter DC in Jakarta.

Ka Vin spent 11 years in Singapore Technologies Telemedia where he held key management positions.  He was involved in the early days of ST Telemedia’s growth in the industry, working on M&A and tenders for Telco licences both in Singapore and the region. He headed the team that developed the successful proposal for Starhub Mobile. Ka Vin went on to be one of the 2 prime founders of i-STT Data Centre which subsequently became Equinix, the world’s largest data center operator today. At Equinix, Ka Vin was the VP Business Development for Asia and he provided the leadership which ensured all 4 Asia sites delivered a positive EBITDA creating a US$80 million annual recurring revenue contribution from Equinix Asia’s operations by FY 2008.

Ka Vin holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam University.
