Alphabet Inc.’s Google division saw robust revenue growth in the fourth quarter, with Google Cloud revenue surging 48 percent to US$ 17.7 billion as enterprise demand increased, particularly for Google Cloud Platform’s AI infrastructure and solutions, alongside core GCP offerings, according to the company’s earnings report for the period ending December 31, 2025.

According to a press release, overall Google services revenue rose 14 percent to US$ 95.9 billion, fuelled by a 17 percent increase in both Google Search and other services, and Google subscriptions, platforms, and devices. YouTube ad revenue grew 9 percent, pushing total YouTube revenue for 2025 above US$ 60 billion.

Sundar Pichai, CEO, Google said, “It was a tremendous quarter for Alphabet and annual revenues exceeded US$ 400 billion for the first time. The launch of Gemini 3 was a major milestone and we have great momentum.” He further said, “Our first party models, like Gemini, now process over 10 billion tokens per minute via direct API use by our customers, and the Gemini App has grown to over 750 million monthly active users. Search saw more usage than ever before, with AI continuing to drive an expansionary moment.”

Google continued to see strong growth across its business in 2025. YouTube’s annual revenue, from both ads and subscriptions, exceeded US$ 60 billion, supported by more than 325 million paid subscriptions for services including Google One and YouTube Premium. Google Cloud ended the year with an annual run rate above US$ 70 billion, serving a broad range of customers with demand driven largely by AI products.

The company’s investments in AI infrastructure and products contributed to revenue growth across its divisions. To support continued expansion and meet rising customer demand, Alphabet’s 2026 capital expenditures are expected to be between US$ 175 billion and US$ 185 billion.
