On Friday, July 24, w.media is hosting our Data Center Investment Summit Northeast Asia at the Kowloon Shangri-La, in Hong Kong. This is where we are bringing together financiers, developers, policymakers, global investors, operators and regulators to explore how Northeast Asia is mobilizing capital and engineering solutions for AI‑ready and energy‑resilient infrastructure.
The Data Center Investment Summit (DCIS) is one of our newest offerings in the events and conventions space, and the idea is to get the best minds in the digital infrastructure industry to brainstorm about the best investment strategies for developing AI infrastructure that also checks all boxes related to sustainability and energy efficiency.
The very first DCIS was held in June this year in Singapore, and attracted a highly curated selection of 150 of the creme de la creme from among industry captains and strategic investors. Given the unprecedented growth in the digital infrastructure industry across Japan, South Korea and China, hosting an investment summit focused on Northeast Asia was the next logical step. The agenda of the event emphasizes both the financial frameworks and the technical innovations required to deliver GPU‑intensive workloads at scale.
