Following the devastating fire at Digital Realty’s SIN11 data center in Singapore, authorities and recovery teams continue to assess the extent of the damage and work towards restoring operations.

While firefighting efforts have been concluded, the data center remains partially closed due to structural damage and safety concerns. The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) has issued a Dangerous Building Order (DBO) and a Closure Order (CO) for specific areas of the facility.

In an official statement, Digital Realty has confirmed that a company emergency response team (CERT) is on-site to support recovery operations. The company is also working closely with affected customers, ensuring they are informed and supported.

They also stated that their team remains vigilant, monitoring the situation closely and working on recovery and mitigation strategies. Additionally, Digital Realty has implemented stricter safety measures, including inspections and enhanced monitoring, across all their sites.

“Our operations team remains on-site around the clock, following all guidelines and safety recommendations issued by the authorities.” the company said.
