Singapore-based energy solutions firm AsiaPhos Limited announced recently it has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with China Mobile International Limited to collaborate on data center and artificial intelligence (AI) computing services in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. The duo plan to leverage on each other’s expertise, amongst others, China Mobile will introduce potential customers to AsiaPhos.
In the event the introduction resulted in a successful deal, AsiaPhos will prioritize China Mobile for fit-out works, detailed design, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment, procurement and works.
The LOI can be terminated by either party with prior notice, according to an exchange filing by AsiaPhos.
The deal is not expected to prejudice AsiaPhos’ proposed acquisition of Exquisite Mode Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of a Malaysia-based developer. Exquisite Mode specializes in property development and owning and/or managing hotels.
