DataVolt to Invest $100 M in Data Center in Bangladesh’s Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City

Saudi Arabia’s DataVolt, has announced plans to establish a  data center worth $100 million in Bangladesh’s Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City (BHTC) located in Gazipur, on the outskirts of Dhaka. This  development was revealed by Ayad Al Amri, Chief Strategy Officer of DataVolt, during a meeting held in Dhaka with Zunaid Ahmed Palak, the State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Division in Bangladesh.

 

The Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA) has granted approval to allocate 3 acres of land within the high-tech city for the construction of this modern data center. Emphasizing the immense potential of the hi-tech park, Minister Palak assured DataVolt of the full support of the Bangladeshi government, further solidifying the partnership and investment in this burgeoning sector.
