CtrlS Datacenters, a noteworthy player in the Indian data center market, has launched the Google Cloud Interconnect services in three Indian metropolitan cities: Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi.
According to Google Cloud, Cloud Interconnect provides low-latency, high-availability connections that enable users to reliably transfer data between their Google Cloud Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks and their other networks. Also, Cloud Interconnect connections provide internal IP address communication, which means internal IP addresses are directly accessible from both networks.
With this service, CtrlS aims to help businesses establish direct, reliable connections to Google Cloud, and benefit from enhanced network performance, reduced latency, and improved security when accessing Google Cloud services.
“By bringing Google Cloud Interconnect to our state-of-the-art data centers, we’re unlocking a world of possibilities for businesses across industries,” said Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Founder & CEO, CtrlS Group, adding, “This strategic partnership aligns perfectly with the vision of CtrlS Datacenters and Cloud4C to foster a vibrant cloud ecosystem in India, equipping businesses with the agility and innovation they need to thrive in the digital era.”
Deb Deep Sengupta, President & Chief Revenue Officer, Cloud4C said, “Bridging the physical and digital realms has always been at the core of CtrlS Group. Now, by offering Google Cloud Interconnect across India, we’re not just connecting businesses to the cloud, we’re connecting them to the future. By partnering with Google Cloud, we’re bringing the power of the cloud closer to businesses nationwide, empowering them to unlock new possibilities and accelerate their digital journeys.”
According to a press release all existing (5) and upcoming data centers (4) in Mumbai will host the service, as will those in Noida (near Delhi) and Hyderabad. At present, CtrlS operates 15 datacenters across eight key markets and is set to build over 600 MW of datacenter capacity by 2029.
