Colt Data Centre Services Expands into India with Cutting-Edge Navi Mumbai Data Centre

Colt Data Centre Services (DCS) is thrilled to announce the inauguration of its inaugural data center in India, strategically located in Navi Mumbai. This milestone signifies Colt DCS’ unwavering commitment to meeting the surging demand from hyperscale cloud service providers and large enterprises in India’s rapidly growing data center market.

Colt DCS’ Navi Mumbai Data Centre offers customers unparalleled flexibility and scalability, thanks to its sprawling 15-acre property with the capacity to support 120 MW of IT power.

This adaptability is reinforced by a robust infrastructure, featuring a highly resilient 220kV GIS substation on-site with a LILO configuration. Moreover, the data center prioritizes security with multiple layers of protection, including hardened physical parameters, access controls, and 24×7 surveillance. Following a comprehensive TVRA assessment, the site has been classified as a low-risk location. Colt DCS brings over 25 years of experience in supporting mission-critical workloads, leveraging its award-winning Operations and Service Management capabilities.

In a noteworthy achievement, the project has been awarded a “Platinum” Rating by IGBC – Green Data Centre (India Green Building Council). This accreditation underscores Colt DCS’ dedication to sustainability and innovation.

Safety remains a paramount concern for Colt DCS, and the data center consistently upholds the highest health and safety standards for its workforce. The rigorous implementation of safety regulations has earned Colt DCS the Safety Excellence Award from the Safety Engineers Association (SEA).
