Global information technology services and consulting firm Capgemini has signed an agreement to acquire Cloud4C, a provider of automation-driven managed services for hybrid and sovereign cloud environments. This acquisition aims to expand Capgemini’s footprint in the fast-growing cloud managed services market, and enable the group to further develop industry specific packaged frameworks, intellectual property (IP) and generative AI (gen AI) solutions for cloud management.
Founded in 2014, Cloud4C helps enterprises migrate, manage and optimize their technology and data. Cloud4C helps clients to develop and implement their cloud strategy through consulting, stack migration and management, as well as providing hybrid cloud solutions for sovereignty. Cloud4C also provides value-added services such as process automation, disaster recovery, data loss prevention, business continuity, cybersecurity, industry and sovereign compliances.

The acquisition is expected to close in the coming months, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions for a transaction of this nature.
