Bersama Digital Infrastructure Asia’s (BDIA) has launched Bersama Digital Data Centres (BDDC), a carrier-neutral data center platform, to support accelerating and fulfilling demand for digital infrastructure from multiple sectors in Indonesia.
Bersama Digital Data Centres (BDDC) is an in-town carrier-neutral data center platform where local and global enterprises in Indonesia collocate and interconnect their digital infrastructure in one integrated ecosystem.
As a digital infrastructure platform, BDDC has acquired two in-town data centers, namely PT Rumah Data Kita from ProCap Properti (JST Site) and PT PCDC Propco One (JBT Site) AtriaDC from PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (Saratoga).
According to the recent report of Arizton, Indonesia’s data center industry is expected to have a CAGR of 6.27% from the period of 2023-2028. This is driven by market demand from cloud adoption, technology and IoT investments in data centers and overall digitalization growth.
Setyanto Hantoro, Bersama Digital Data Centres (BDDC) President Commissioner, the establishment of BDDC aims to create a new force capable of providing optimal added value, both for domestic and multinational businesses.
BDDC now reaches 60 megawatts, and plans to expand the capacity and development of the two existing data center sites through a partnership with various connectivity providers, both globally and locally, to strengthen their interconnectivity ecosystem.
