Roshan, Afghanistan’s leading telecommunications provider, has completed a new investment in the Singapore arm of Digitalk Carrier Cloud.
The telecommunications provider will establish a local presence in Digitalk’s Singapore data centers, creating new opportunities to reach high-quality routes, scale their operations and forge new partnerships.
“Digitalk Carrier Cloud has been key to Roshan’s growth plans for our international business, enabling us to increase our traffic volume and reach,” said Altaf Ladak, the Deputy CEO of Roshan.
Roshan first adopted Digitalk Carrier Cloud in 2018 with a presence in their London data center to provide connectivity for international traffic. Since then, the telecommunications provider serves over six million subscribers, and has seen business volumes surge with a strong network of carrier relationships.
“Roshan’s growth since 2018 has been exceptional. We’re proud that Carrier Cloud has been instrumental in this success, enabling Roshan to build market share,” commented Neil French, the CTO of Digitalk.
Digitalk Carrier Cloud offers unlimited, elastic scale, with Tier 1 points of presence in London as well as Singapore and Miami since 2013. The network infrastructure provider also provides automation tools to boost operational performance and integrated business intelligence capabilities for agility.
