Aedan Looking Glass Inc. (ALG), an intelligence and scientific research company, on behalf of Turnkey Capital Inc. (TKCI), a publicly traded technology company, is planning to develop a 200 MW data center in Wanju County, North Jeolla Province in South Korea. The project was approved after international developers signed a formal Purchase and Sale Agreement (PSA) with local landowner Cheolho Moon on March 20, 2026.
According to a press release, the negotiations include acquiring a majority stake in PropCo with the local entity owned by Moon and designated as the project sponsor. ALG and TKCI previously established a US$ 450 million technology licensing agreement, under which TKCI licenses its secure cloud computing platform exclusively for ALG’s modular data centers.
Myles Gray, Deputy Director of Counter-Intelligence & Special Projects, ALG, who led the Korea partnership, said, “Bringing this 200 MW project together is the landmark of my efforts and my career. The work I put into building this partnership is matched only by the honor and integrity of Chairman Moon and the strength of ALG.”
The North Jeolla Province Data Center Project represents the first deployment of TKCI-powered infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region. Strategic partners including Hark Capital Group Inc. and Big Shine Worldwide Inc. attended the signing, with Big Shine taking responsibility for energy efficiency and sustainable operations.
The site in Iseo-myeon is intended for high-density data center construction, reflecting a broader trend of moving capacity outside the Seoul metropolitan area to take advantage of regional power availability and government support for digital hubs. According to ALG, the full 200 MW build-out could represent an infrastructure investment exceeding US$ 9 billion, pending financing, regulatory approvals, and due diligence.
Developers expect to complete due diligence and move toward ground breaking in the coming months, with full operational capacity aligned to regional power availability and permitting schedules.
