Indonesian conglomerate Salim Group announced yesterday it has completed the acquisition of Keppel Data Centres’ ownership interest in IndoKeppel Data Centres in December 2025 and has rebranded it as IndoData Center. It now fully owns the 500MW ready-for-service data center.
Located in Bogor, south of Jakarta, across 30 hectares of land, the campus which has secured 500MW of power capacity with state electricty firm PLN, targets artificial intelligence (AI) firms, large cloud providers and hyperscalers, according to IndoData Center Linkedin page.
“Backed by the Salim Group’s extensive capabilities, strong local network, and proven ability to execute large-scale infrastructure projects, IndoData Center is positioned to respond quickly to the rapidly growing demand for AI and hyperscale capacity in Indonesia,” the post stated.
At the same time, IndoData Center has also successfully completed and delivered an additional 6 MW of IT load capacity for one of its existing hyperscale clients, as announced by Ronald Setiawan, Director, IndoData Data Center (Operations Management) yesterday in his Linkedin post.
