SB Telecom Singapore Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp., SC ZEUS Data Centers Pte Ltd, and Robust HPC Group have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), to accelerate AI data center deployment in Southeast Asia amid surging regional demand for high-density artificial intelligence computing workloads, according to press releases by the parties yesterday. Under the MOU, effective 1 August, the parties will collaborate to supply, build and operate GPU infrastructure, as well as develop AI data centers in the region.
Singapore-headquartered data center platform SC ZEUS Data Centers will source for land, design, build, and operate the core data center infrastructure while Malaysia-based HPC specialist Robust HPC Group will spearhead the procurement, setup, and management of high-performance GPU clusters, utilizing advanced hardware. SB Telecom Singapore will take charge of data hall fit-out, ICT infrastructure integration, localized deployment support, and critical connectivity solutions.
The parties will develop AI factory solutions and explore diverse commercial models, including GPU-as-a-Service platforms and AI Token Factory with initial deployments in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, before expanding to the rest of the region.

The facilities will feature advanced capabilities like liquid cooling infrastructure, 800 VDC architecture and low-latency networking.
